Lauren Ismail

Lauren Ismail is an experienced accounting and finance professional currently serving as an Accounting and Finance Manager at Kaiser Associates since May 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Accounting Associate. Prior to joining Kaiser Associates, Lauren worked at CAPREIT, Inc. as a Property Accountant, where responsibilities included reviewing financial statements, approving accounts payable transactions, and maintaining communication with property management teams. Additional experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant at R.W. Pressprich & Co., providing financial reports, and interning at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture with a focus on grants and financial management. Earlier in career, Lauren worked as a Preschool Teacher, developing educational programs. Lauren holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Global Challenges in Business and Business Analytics from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University, along with a certification in Early Childhood Education from Northern Virginia Community College.
