Jasper Yang

Jasper Yang is a dedicated research professional with significant experience in biostatistics and data analysis. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute since June 2021, Jasper previously worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and also contributed as a Bioinformatics and Statistics Research Assistant at Grinnell College, focusing on the statistical analysis of scRNA-seq data in R. Jasper's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Essex, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Grinnell College. Jasper also gained foundational training at the Boston University Summer Institute in Biostatistics, receiving a full scholarship for this NHLBI-funded program in 2019, which encompassed vital topics such as biostatistics, clinical trials, and statistical genetics, along with training in SAS and R.
