Brett Downen

Brett Downen has over 16 years of experience in healthcare imaging and informatics, currently serving as the Hospital Imaging Manager at Kaiser Permanente since July 2014, where management of a team of 54 imaging staff is a primary focus. Previous roles at Kaiser Permanente included Department Manager for Imaging Informatics, overseeing PACS Administrators and imaging enterprise systems, and Imaging Informatics Support Manager, responsible for 24/7 support of imaging systems. Beginning a career as a Radiologic Technologist, Brett performed various radiologic procedures and supported fluoroscopic procedures at Oregon Pain Associates. Educational achievements include an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Radiologic Technology from Portland Community College and an Associate's degree in Fine/Studio Arts from the College of San Mateo.
