Orlando J. Castro

Orlando J. Castro, CEM, serves as the Senior Director of Data Center Operations at Kaiser Permanente since February 2008, providing expertise in Facilities Operations and Energy Conservation while chairing the Data Center Facilities Council and overseeing key Critical Facilities Programs. Prior experience includes roles as Building Operations Manager at Letterman Digital Arts Ltd. and Chief Engineer at Able Engineering, where responsibilities included managing engineering systems for notable projects such as the award-winning 555 City Center in Downtown Oakland. Orlando J. Castro also served as Assistant Chief Engineer and then Chief Engineer for Shorenstein Realty Services, contributing to the construction and management of class 1A office buildings. Orlando J. Castro holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology from California State University Maritime Academy, completed between 1985 and 1989.
