Paul Swenson

Paul Swenson is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and financial management. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Kaiser Permanente since January 2012, Paul previously held the position of President and CEO of John Muir Physician Network from January 2006 to December 2011. Prior experience includes roles as CFO and other positions at Blue Shield of California from 1998 to 2004 and various positions at Aetna from 1989 to 1998. Paul Swenson holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, completed between 1979 and 1981, and also studied at Duke University.
