Venkata Kishore Neppalli

Venkata Kishore Neppalli, Ph.D. has over 8 years of work experience in the field of data science, machine learning, and software engineering. In 2019, they began working as the Director of Emerging Technologies, Principal Consultant, and Sr. Specialist at Kaizen Analytix, where they provided data science consulting and applied machine learning and NLP to clients' data to derive valuable insights. Venkata Kishore also analyzed and visualized large-scale data and conducted research and development, POC, and prototyping. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Data Scientist at XpertTech Inc, where they applied machine learning and NLP to electronic medical records (EMR) to derive valuable insights. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Fellow at the Machine Learning Research Group and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Texas, where they led research and development efforts in the Machine Learning Research Lab and built systems/models to automatically predict tweet retweetability, informativeness, and sentiment analysis for tweets from Hurricane Sandy. In 2016, they worked as an Android/Web Developer Intern at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, where they did full-stack web development, developed an Android app for the museum, and developed RESTful web services to deliver and collect content to/from the app. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Virtusa, where they led development efforts of user interface in a web application and implemented pagination for exporting several million records.

Venkata Kishore Neppalli, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of North Texas At Denton between 2013 and 2017. Additionally, they have a Problem Solving Certificate from HackerRank obtained in September 2020.
