Todd Watson

Todd Watson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Todd is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Kalamazoo College, a position they started in 2022. Before that, Todd held various roles at Southwestern University, including Associate Vice President for Information Technology, Senior Director of Information Technology, and Director of Systems and Networks & Acting Head of ITS Department. Todd was responsible for providing leadership and support for the centralized Information Technology Services department. Todd was also involved in recruiting a new Vice President of Information Services and CIO and played a key role in the re-envisioning of an integrated Information Services organization. Prior to their time at Southwestern University, Todd worked at Iowa State University as a Program Coordinator for the International Institute of Theoretical and Applied Physics and as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Todd also has experience as a Research Laboratory Technician in the Astronomy Department at The University of Texas at Austin. Overall, Todd has a strong background in IT leadership and management, with expertise in systems and network administration, program coordination, and research support.

Todd Watson attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Astronomy.
