Mark Ortiz

Mark Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Mark worked as the Vice President of Product Development at Kaleidoscope Innovation and Product Design, where they focused on integrating departments, driving project efficiency, and implementing excellence initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering, leading a team of engineers and implementing strategies for improving engineering capacity.

Mark also worked as a Principal at Ascension Design, where they designed innovative approaches across multiple industries. At Littleford Day, Inc., they held the position of Vice President of Research and Operations, overseeing P&L responsibilities and streamlining engineering efforts.

Mark also has experience as a self-employed Expert Witness, providing testimony and analysis in a billion-dollar lawsuit defense. Earlier in their career, Mark worked at Ethicon Endo-Surgery as an Engineering Lead, leading device design programs and initiating research initiatives.

Before that, they held the role of Team Leader at Corning Precision Optics and International Paper, where they designed advanced technologies and led design teams.

Mark Ortiz attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
