Isaac Gerg

Isaac Gerg is a Computer Vision Researcher at Kitware Inc. since October 2023, specializing in advanced deep learning techniques for remote sensing applications across projects such as AI-BDA and Steel Vulture. Previously, Isaac worked as a Research Scientist at Penn State University Applied Research Laboratory from October 2009 to September 2023, focusing on machine learning and remote sensing, and participated as a Visiting Research Scientist at NATO STO-CMRE in 2018. Isaac began a career at Raytheon as a Senior Systems Engineer I from September 2004 to October 2009, while also gaining experience as an intern at various organizations, including the Penn State Applied Research Laboratory and Bechtel Bettis Atomic Power Lab. Isaac holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, as well as an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, respectively, all from Penn State University.
