Ángel Suárez, PhD

Ángel Suárez, PhD has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Junior Software Engineer at EDP España in 2010. Ángel then worked as a Software Engineer at Sistema Binario S.L. in the same year. In 2012, they took on the role of Co-Founder at Smart Data Protection S.L. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at (Welten Institute) Open Universiteit of the Netherlands as an Educational Technology Consultant and Researcher. In 2018, they began working at KALYP Technologies as a Product Development Manager, Software Engineer, and Junior Software Engineer.

Ángel Suárez obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the Universidad de Oviedo in 2010. Ángel then went on to complete an MSc in Web Engineering from the same university in 2013, focusing on Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster. Following that, they obtained an MSc in Web Engineering from Open Universiteit in 2013, completing a Master Thesis. In addition, Ángel Suárez has several certifications, including Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School (obtained in November 2016), Anatomy of Backbone.js (Part 1 & Part 2) from Code School (obtained in July 2016), and Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft (obtained in February 2013).
