Emilio Acosta has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Emilio began their career in 2005 as a Project Manager at Corporación ONIX de Costa Rica, where they successfully developed a commercial building and achieved a 20% cost savings for the project. In 2009, they worked as a Financial Analyst intern at Asesores Fiscales Corporativos, where they conducted company valuations using the cash flow method. Later that year, they joined Scotiabank as a Consultant in the marketing department, where they conducted market research and determined value drivers for the young professional segment. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Amba Research as an Associate Vice President, collaborating with a senior analyst to conduct investment research and publish industry reports on the maritime shipping industry. Emilio then transitioned to Forever Costa Rica in 2013 as the Financial-Administrative Manager, overseeing the accounting process, preparing financial statements, and supervising the semi-annual external financial audit. Most recently, in 2015, Emilio co-founded Kambda and assumed the role of CEO.
