Mia Wiersema

When she was eight, her grandma sent all her grandkids to Kanakuk after hearing Joe White on Focus on The Family. She can still remember learning the 10 Commandments and the her Third talk. She graduated with a degree in Leadership Communications and a minor in Ministry from Asbury University, where she was also the soccer team captain. She started working for Kanakuk the summer after her freshman year and have been at Kamp every summer since! In 2019, she attended the Kanakuk Institute, then moved to Arkansas to launch the KLIFE chapter in Hot Springs. She love working for Kanakuk full-time and am beyond blessed to use her passion for sports, the outdoors, and FUN to bring honor to her King!
