Brenda Buschbacher

Brenda Buschbacher is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in media relations and public information. Currently serving as a Communications Analyst for Kane County, Illinois, since June 2021, Brenda manages social media accounts and produces the Kane County Connects newsletter, reaching over 23,000 residents. Previously, as Executive Editor at Moose International, Inc., from January 2014 to May 2020, Brenda oversaw content and production for a bi-monthly publication distributed to over 1 million members. Brenda's earlier roles include Coordinator of Public Information at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, where responsibilities encompassed public relations and managing the award-winning IMSA360 magazine, and various positions in news reporting and editing at United Press International and WMRO-AM/WYSY-FM. Brenda holds a B.S. in Telecommunication from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts from Waubonsee Community College.
