Juan Sebastian Marin E.i.t., M.sc.

Juan Sebastian Marin, P.Eng., M.Sc. is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Lead Evaluations Engineer at Kanin Energy since January 2021. Responsibilities include conducting waste heat audits across various industries, performing feasibility studies, and supporting project execution from front-end engineering design to commissioning. Prior to this role, Juan Sebastian worked at the University of Alberta as a Research Assistant and Project Advisor, contributing to research documentation and publication. Earlier academic experiences also include positions as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher, where significant research in fluid dynamics and heat transfer was conducted. Juan Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
