Kyle Silbernagel

Kyle Silbernagel has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Kyle is currently the Director of Projects at Kanin Energy, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Kanin Energy from March 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Kanin Energy, Kyle worked at Cenovus Energy for over a decade in various roles. Their most recent position at Cenovus Energy was as a Sr. Opportunity Engineer from March 2019 to January 2021. Kyle also served as a Sr. Reliability Engineer from March 2017 to February 2019. In addition, they held several positions as a Project Engineer and Project & Facilities Engineer from 2009 to 2017, where they gained valuable experience in managing and executing projects in the energy sector.

Kyle Silbernagel has a solid education background, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Colorado State University, which they earned from 2019 to 2021. Prior to obtaining their MBA, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Kyle also holds two professional certifications. Kyle has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute since December 2017. Furthermore, they acquired the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in December 2012.
