Alvar Mahlberg

Alvar Mahlberg is a Project Manager at Kansallisgalleria | Finnish National Gallery, focusing on Web3 projects such as Alusta, Combine, and Remix the Archive since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alvar co-founded and served as CEO of Metaspace from January 2021 to January 2023, specializing in virtual worlds, spaces, and objects. Alvar has also worked as a Designer at the University of Jyväskylä from January 2018 to June 2019, concentrating on crypto, token-based networks, and new digital economies, in addition to serving as a Project Manager for the Blockchain Research Group during that time. Alvar holds a Master's degree in Information System Science from the University of Jyväskylä.
