Offensive Quality Control & Asst. Quarterbacks at Kansas City Chiefs

Dan Williams enters his fourth season with the Chiefs and first as the offensive assistant in 2022. He spent the past two seasons as the Assistant to the Head Coach. Williams served as a coaching intern for the Chiefs in 2019 working closely with the quarterbacks and tight ends.

During his time as Assistant to the Head Coach, Williams worked directly with Head Coach Andy Reid in organizing the day-to-day operations of the team. His responsibilities include overseeing player and staff communications with the head coach and managing the football calendar, which includes the offseason program, mini-camp and in-season schedules.

Prior to joining the Chiefs, Williams served as a coaching intern with Stevenson University where he assisted with the offensive skill positions during meetings and practice.

The Sicklerville, N.J. native spent four seasons (2015-18) at Stevenson University where he served as the starting quarterback and team captain. Williams left the Mustangs as the school's all-time leader in career completions (277), attempts (449), completion percentage (64%), passing yards (7,139), and passing touchdowns (61).

Williams' father, Ted Williams, spent 20 years on the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff working with the tight ends (1995-96; 2013-14) and running backs (1997-2012). He also spent two years as a pro scout with the Eagles in 2015-16. Ted Williams spent 14 seasons under Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid while he was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles (1999-2012).
