Kim Romary has over two decades of experience in marketing and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Kansas City Zoo since January 2017, Kim previously held positions such as Mental Health Coalition Coordinator at Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City, where the focus was on reducing stigma associated with mental illness, and Vice President of Marketing at United Way of Greater Kansas City, where Kim created and managed the brand of a newly merged nonprofit. Earlier experience includes serving as Director and Associate of Marketing at Heart of America United Way, where Kim coordinated communications and managed fundraising-related marketing projects. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University.
