Dor Dan

Dor Dan has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Dor is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Kantata, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineering Manager at Kantata from February 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Kantata, Dor worked at Mavenlink as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2020 to February 2021. Dor also held the position of Software Engineer at Mavenlink from February 2018 to February 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Web Developer at Mavenlink from April 2017 to February 2018, where they focused on creating animations and interactive tools for the company's marketing website using GreenSock Animation Platform and vanilla JavaScript.

Dor's early career includes freelance web development work for Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc. from August 2015 to August 2018, where they designed and built multiple websites from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and the Paypal API. Dor also founded and developed their own website, Refaim, from September 2012 to August 2018, where they utilized PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS.

Furthermore, Dor gained research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Cal Poly Pomona Research from April 2016 to March 2017. In this role, they conducted research on patients with learning disabilities and developed a GUI program using C++ to incorporate eye tracking and haptic devices.

Additionally, Dor worked as a Web Developer at ASI Cal Poly Pomona from February 2015 to March 2017. Here, they updated the website with new content, resolved backend issues using PHP and MySQL, and made decisions regarding content display.

Dor also had an internship experience as a Network Security Analyst Intern at NVISION Eye Centers - Dansoft from June 2016 to August 2016. In this role, they learned about cloud network infrastructure, performed a penetration test, and ensured compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Dor Dan attended Northwood High School from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they enrolled in California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2013 to 2017. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
