Heather Pertel has a strong background in business development and strategic alliances. Heather currently holds the role of Director of Strategic Alliances at Kantata since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Development Consultant and Partnership Builder at C22.live in 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Heather served as the Director of Strategic Alliances at Kimble Applications, where they played a key role in optimizing resource utilization and profitability for professional service organizations. Before that, they were the Head of Business Development at BuildLane from 2020 to 2021.

Heather has extensive experience in the technology industry. Heather served as the Director of Business Development at Gemalto (now Thales Digital Identity & Security) from 2019 to 2020, leading a global team of field marketing professionals. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Global Field Marketing Director at Gemalto (formerly SafeNet), where they were instrumental in defining and implementing the company's strategic vision in field marketing.

Earlier in their career, Heather held roles at Parature, where they served as the Director of Business Development and Channels from 2009 to 2011. Heather was responsible for building Parature's business development and alliances strategy, as well as managing partner relationships to drive revenue. Prior to that, they worked as a Channel Manager at Parature from 2007 to 2009, focusing on partnership strategy across various verticals.

Heather's career began at Arena Solutions as an Inside Sales Manager and Sales Manager from 2006 to 2007. At Arena, they contributed to redefining product lifecycle management (PLM) with cloud applications that improved collaboration for engineering and manufacturing.

Before their entry into the technology industry, Heather worked as an Account Manager at NetSuite from 2002 to 2006.

Heather Pertel completed their high school education at Phillips Exeter Academy from 1991 to 1994, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, they attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Heather Pertel also obtained a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in May 2020.
