Tore Eide Andersen

Tore Eide Andersen has a diverse range of work experience in software development and consulting. Tore Eide started their career as a Software Developer at MicroWay.MRT AS in 1993 and later worked as a Software Developer at CAMO Software from 1994 to 1999. Tore Eide then joined Mogul as a Senior Consultant from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Tore became a Software Developer at Nordenfjeldske Forsikring AS, where they were responsible for maintaining the core life insurance management system and implementing new functionality. Tore Eide also participated in major code refactorings and migration to C++/C#. During their time there, they played a significant role in automating document printing, dispatching, scanning, and archiving workflows.

Tore started their consulting career in 2002 by establishing TEA Consulting. As a Consultant and Owner, they provided documentation writing and software development support to various employers while also assisting in educating new employees in Bangalore, India.

From 2006 to 2011, Tore worked at Triona AS in various roles. Tore Eide first served as a Senior Software Developer, where they managed projects and acted as an architect and developer for two major projects for the Norwegian Road Authorities. These projects involved developing a Java-based registration and analysis solution for car ferry traffic counts and a portfolio of software modules.

Later, Tore became a Development Manager at Triona AS. In this role, they established and enforced coding standards and maintained common code libraries for the Java and .NET platforms.

Since 2011, Tore has been working at Kantega as a Senior Software Developer and Co-owner. Tore Eide is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and microservices for the Department of Product and Market using technologies such as Quarkus/Java and React.js.

Tore Eide Andersen pursued their education at Norges Tekniske Høgskole from 1988 to 1992. During this period, they earned a degree in Computer Science, specifically Sivilingeniør.

In addition to their formal education, Tore Eide Andersen also obtained additional certifications. In June 2010, they became a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems, Inc. Furthermore, in January 2009, they achieved the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, Inc.
