Matthew Farago

Matthew Farago has a diverse work experience that spans across various sectors. Matthew started their career in 2001 as a Business Services Officer at General Electric Mortgage Insurance. Matthew then worked in the NSW Police Force as a Ballistics Support Officer and later as a Crime Scene Officer. In 2009, Matthew joined KAUST as a Business Developer, where they managed relationships with oil and gas companies to further the research development objectives of the university. Matthew subsequently held roles at SkillsDMC, Navitas, and UTS: University of Technology Sydney, before becoming the Business Manager at Landcare NSW. Currently, they are the Head of Academic Operations and Compliance at Kaplan Professional (Australia), where they ensure regulatory compliance and provides guidance to meet legislative requirements.

Matthew Farago obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (Social Science) and Government/Public Administration from the University of Sydney in 2000. Matthew then pursued a Certificate IV in Crime Scene Examination at Canberra Institute of Technology in 2007. Matthew later completed their education by earning a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Macquarie Business School, where they studied from 2006 to 2013.
