Anup Pillai

Anup Pillai is a seasoned professional in data science with a robust background in statistics. Currently serving as a Team Lead in Data Science at Kaplan since June 2020, Anup was previously a Data Scientist within the same organization. Prior to Kaplan, Anup held the role of Assistant Manager in Statistics at State Bank of India from June 2017 to June 2020, where responsibilities included collaborating with business units to solve problems through data analysis and visualization, alongside developing predictive models with machine learning algorithms in R. Anup's career began at Cytel as an Associate Tester in Statistics from June 2013 to May 2017, focusing on testing statistical software and creating validators for clinical trial simulations. Anup holds a Master's degree in Statistics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Fergusson College.
