Hilliary Turnipseed

Hilliary Turnipseed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in talent acquisition and management. Hilliary most recently held the position of Senior Director, Talent at Kapor Capital starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Inclusive Hiring Strategist at Hill Street Strategies since 2019. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Talent and DEI at Upside Business Travel. Before that, they were the Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Operations at POLITICO from 2016 to 2017. Their experience also includes working as a Recruitment Manager and Recruiter at Discovery Inc from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Recruitment Associate and Intern Program Manager at Blackboard, a Recruiter at Randstad USA, and a Clinical Data Management Specialist at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Hilliary began their professional journey as an Executive Search Recruiter at DHR International in 2008.

Hilliary Turnipseed earned a Bachelor's degree in History from American University in 2008. In 2006-2007, they also studied German and History at Freie Universität Berlin. Hilliary has additional certifications in DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) from the Kapor Center and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida.
