Arnar Laufdal Olafsson

Arnar Laufdal Olafsson has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Arnar Laufdal started their career in 1984 as an Apprentice of Hospitality at Hotel Borg. In 1988, they were promoted to Headwaiter at the same hotel. In 1998, they moved to Landsbanki Íslands as a Corporate Account Manager. Arnar then worked at SPH Bank as an Investment Consultant from 2000-2001. Arnar Laufdal then became the Owner/CEO of BROADWAY restaurant/theater & TEITI catering company from 2001-2009. In 2011, Arnar was appointed as the Hotelmanager at Grand Hotel Reykjavik. Most recently, in 2021, they founded Healthblock Inc.

Arnar Laufdal Olafsson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance from California State University, Chico from 1995 to 1998. From 1986 to 1991, they attended Fjölbrautarskólinn í Garðabæ (An Upper Secondary Level Comprehensive School) and obtained a Stúdentspróf in Hagfræðibraut. From 1985 to 1988, they attended Hótel og veitingaskóli Íslands and obtained a Framreiðslumaður in Hospitality. From 1974 to 1985, they attended Hólabrekkuskóli and obtained an Elementary school degree in General education. In addition, in May 1992, they obtained a Meistarbréf in Framreiðslu from Lögreglustjóri.
