Matt Rumble

Matt Rumble is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Karbon since July 2022. Prior to this, Matt held several roles at Xero from May 2014 to July 2022, including Development Team Lead, Software Engineering Manager, and Principal Engineer, where significant projects such as Single Touch Payroll and JobKeeper were completed. Earlier career experiences include serving as Application Architect at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Technical Team Lead at AusAID, focusing on aid management systems. Matt started the career as a Web Application Developer at the Department of Education Science and Training after earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of South Australia.
