Neha Sood

Neha Sood has a diverse work experience. Neha started their career as a Laboratory Trainee at UNSW Australia in 2009 and later participated in a Summer Internship at Karolinska Institutet in 2010. From 2011 to 2015, Neha worked at Accenture as an Associate Software Analyst and later as a Software Analyst, where they were responsible for various projects related to testing and business system analysis. Neha then joined Xero in 2015 and held multiple roles such as Vacation Student, Graduate Developer, and finally Team Lead. At Xero, Neha worked on software development, automated testing, project management, and recruitment. From 2015 to 2018, they also worked as a Tutor for Systems Analysis and Modelling at the University of Canberra. In 2021, Neha had a Secondment role as a Business Analyst at Xero before joining Karbon in 2022 as a Software Engineering Team Lead, where they manage a small team and focuses on driving engineering support strategy.

Neha Sood obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from Jaypee University of Information Technology from 2007 to 2011. Neha then pursued their Master of Information Technology and Systems at the University of Canberra from 2015 to 2016. Prior to their university education, Neha attended Mount Carmel School from 1996 to 2007. In addition, they have acquired various certifications including ISTQB Foundation Level, IELTS score (7.5), Application Tester Certification, Healthcare 101, and recently, the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in January 2022.
