Brendan Lloyd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biomedical engineering and research. Currently serving as a Risk Manager and Biomedical Engineer at Kardium Inc. since October 2011, Brendan has contributed to pre-clinical trials and projects involving 3D cardiac ultrasound and percutaneous atrial fibrillation catheters, specializing in thermal coagulation research and intracardiac electrogram interpretation. Prior to this role, Brendan worked as a Research Physicist at Sunnybrook Research Institute from April 2009 to September 2011, focusing on microbubble contrast-enhanced ultrasound and managing clinical trials and experiments. Additionally, Brendan gained teaching experience as a Physics Instructor at George Brown College from January 2011 to April 2011. Brendan holds an MSc in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Physics and Math from the University of Victoria.
