Naghmeh Ghafari

Naghmeh Ghafari has a diverse work experience background. Starting in 2009 as a Postdoctoral Research/Teaching Fellow at The University of British Columbia, they then moved on to Critical Systems Labs as a Research Associate/Consultant. In 2012, Ghafari transitioned to Kardium Inc., where they held various roles including Senior Quality Engineer, Risk Management Team Lead, Quality Engineering Manager, Director of Quality Engineering, and currently, they serve as the VP of Product Quality Engineering. Naghmeh'sexpertise lies in quality engineering and risk management within the medical device industry.

Naghmeh Ghafari holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran (1996-2000), followed by a MASc in Computer Engineering (2001-2003) and a PhD in Computer Science (2003-2009) from the University of Waterloo.
