Marco Pedretti

Marco Pedretti is a dedicated software engineer with extensive experience in software development and integration within the medical robotics and computer vision domains. Currently employed at KARL STORZ VentureONE, Marco specializes in designing and developing a real-time framework for medical robotics, while mentoring junior engineers and engaging with ROS2 development. Previous roles at B. Braun New Ventures and TTControl involved C++ sensors integration, architectural design contributions, and innovative product roadmap creation, including the development of complex robotics applications leveraging ROS2 and advanced sensing technologies. With foundational experience from GF SpA and Gevis focused on computer vision in the pharmaceutical industry and metrology systems, Marco has honed skills in software development, hardware integration, and cross-departmental collaboration. Marco holds a master's degree in Computer Science Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Ingegneria informatica, both from Università degli Studi di Parma.
