Shweta Iyer

Shweta Iyer is an experienced analyst in policy and stakeholder engagement at Karp Strategies since June 2022. Iyer has previously held positions as a graduate assistant in graphic design at Pratt Institute, an NYC Community Planning Fellow at the Fund for the City of New York, and a graduate research assistant for the New York City Council's Department of Environmental Protection. Additional roles include a community partnerships intern at The Municipal Art Society of New York, a policy and advocacy fellow at Pratt Center for Community Development, and a graduate research and teaching assistant to the dean at Pratt Institute School of Architecture. Iyer also worked as a researcher at the Urban Planning Design Cell and served as a junior architect and designer at Anupam De & Associates, along with an urbanism and design intern at NUDES. Iyer holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Sir J.J College of Architecture.
