Kasa's is a fast-growing tech-enabled brand and operator of hotel, multifamily, and single-family hospitality accommodations for guests with over 60+ locations across the US. Kasa manages properties on behalf of institutional and local property owners across various price and luxury tiers. Uniquely the growth of our portfolio requires each new unit to be priced and traded on multiple OTA platforms. Our revenue & distribution systems ensure that we are maximizing topline revenues and profitability for the company. This will be a high-impact role within a high-visibility department.

The Role

As a Revenue Support Specialist, you will play an important role in Kasa’s success by supporting our revenue & distribution team’s ability to quickly and efficiently go to market with profit-maximizing strategies. You will work closely with a high-caliber team to monitor the health of our listings and revenue systems, build and deploy promotions, and ensure pricing accuracy across all distribution channels. You will also closely collaborate with the Guest Experience and Sales teams.

How you will make an impact

Using clearly defined processes or guidance from portfolio revenue managers, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve availability by upgrading or moving guests into a new unit
  • Building out or sunsetting rate plans and promotions in our channel management systems and online travel agency extranets
  • Creating new listings and publishing them across various distribution channels as Kasa expands its portfolio
  • Onboarding properties to our revenue management system
  • Maintaining and modifying listing content to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Auditing direct and third-party channels for content, availability, and pricing discrepancies
  • Investigating pricing & availability bugs to find the root cause of the issue and solve it
  • Updating pricing, taxes, and ancillary fees in the appropriate systems
  • Updating length of stay restrictions in the appropriate systems
  • Updating cancellation policies in the appropriate systems
  • Assisting guest experience with troubleshooting rate and availability issues
  • Identifying new compression events and adding them to our revenue management system
  • Assisting revenue & distribution managers with property onboarding and offboarding tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Process-oriented: You will play a key role in updating pricing and availability across multiple systems and distribution channels. It is critical that you are organized and able to follow a set process to minimize potential errors.
  • Attention to Detail: Our properties and room types are all uniquely priced. Accurate pricing on all distribution channels is crucial, as it can significantly affect Kasa’s profitability and relationships with owners and investors.
  • Self-accountability: Our remote environment provides us with significant flexibility, but it also requires self-accountability to succeed. This means being responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly processes promptly and clearly communicating updates on progress & roadblocks.
  • Strong Communicator: Our work involves a lot of communication (especially written-in Slack, Notion, and email) with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be expected to clearly articulate pricing issues, progress updates, and requests for information in a way that achieves the results we want.
  • Resourceful: You’ll likely have to troubleshoot content, pricing, and availability discrepancies across multiple channels. We aim to get to the root cause of all issues, and this would mean taking the initiative to reach out to other teams for information, doing your own research, and looking through historical data & examples.
  • Super Adaptable: When working across various systems and channels, we encounter new features and changes to our interfaces all the time. You’ll need to demonstrate flexibility to learn and adapt to these changes on the fly.
  • Team Player: Kasa’s revenue strategy isn’t executed by just one person; you’ll be working closely with a team of revenue management experts. In addition, you’ll collaborate closely with Distributions, Guest experience, Portfolio Operations, Tech, and Biz Intel teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Previous experience in the hotel industry in a revenue, reservations, or front desk capacity
  • Familiarity with hotel revenue management systems (Duetto)

We want you to consider all of your skills and experiences - both professional and personal- that would make you successful in this role. Although some qualifications are essential, others can be attained with time. We believe diverse perspectives, upbringings, and knowledge contribute to our strong company culture and we encourage you to apply.
