Chin Godawita

Chin Godawita has worked for a number of companies since 2008. Chin began their career at Avalias as a Junior Developer, where they worked with PHP, jQuery, Drupal 5 & 6, MySQL, HTML, and CSS. Chin then joined the UNSW Solar Racing Team as a Mechanical Team Member in 2010. In 2012, they worked as a Developer for Demonz Media Pty Ltd, where they built and lead development of Drupal projects. In 2013, they became a Technical Co-Founder of Bee Analytics, where they created software for IoT devices in C, C++, and Ruby. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Sitback Solutions as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in both backend and frontend development. Finally, from 2017 to 2021, they worked at Lending Works as a Lead Developer and Senior Developer, where they led a development team of 8 and steered the technical architecture of a very regulation-heavy and security-conscious financial system.

Chin Godawita attended the University of New South Wales from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
