Bryan Scarbrough

Bryan Scarbrough has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bryan is currently working as the Chief Engineer at Kasm Technologies as of 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Lead Security Engineer and Senior Security Engineer at Interos Inc from 2021 to 2022.

From 2020 to 2021, Bryan worked as a Senior Consultant, Federal at VMware, where they provided infrastructure support for various VMware products and integrated VMware Advanced Load Balancer into the US Army's network.

Before joining VMware, they worked at SANS Institute as a Military Subject Instructor/Writer from 2019 to 2020. Here, they led a team in creating a training environment and developed curriculum for US Army operational specialties. Bryan also wrote scripts to automate lab environment deployment.

From 2017 to 2019, Bryan worked at Metova Federal as a PCTE Technical Lead and Sr. Cyber Analyst. In these roles, they led a team in integrating Metova CyberCENTS platform operations into the US Army's PCTE project and performed threat emulation, red teaming, and vulnerability analysis for Army systems.

Bryan's earlier experience includes working at the US Army as a Cyber Training Team Lead, IT Training Project Lead, and Systems Engineering Team Lead from 2008 to 2017. In these roles, they led teams in developing and delivering cyberspace operations training, provided training on network management tools, and designed and integrated VMware virtual infrastructure.

Prior to their roles at the US Army, they worked at EPS Corporation as a Technical Training Instructor from 2006 to 2008. Here, they coordinated the construction and maintenance of computer network infrastructure, implemented system security procedures, and performed system administration.

Bryan also has experience working as IT Support at FPL Food LLC in 2006 and as a Technical Training Instructor in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2006.

Bryan Scarbrough has a comprehensive education history that spans across various fields. Bryan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Trident University International in 2005. Later, in 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in IT Project Management from Purdue University.
