Manar Alkassar is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the technology and food supply chain sectors. As Co-Founder of Kaso, established in March 2021, Manar focuses on digitizing the food supply chain in the MENA region, enhancing communication and order management for restaurants and suppliers. Manar also serves as a Founding Partner at qlub and is the Founder and CEO of Helpling Middle East. Previously, Manar held the position of Head of New Ventures (Middle East) at Rocket Internet SE from 2014 to 2021 and worked as a Project Manager at Sirrix AG Security Technologies from 2008 to 2014. In academia, Manar has contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of St. Gallen’s Institute of Technology Management and at Technical University Kaiserslautern. Manar's educational background includes a Master’s in Business Innovation from the University of St. Gallen, an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business, and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, in addition to ongoing education at Y Combinator.
