Areum Son earned a Bachelor's Degree in Korean Language and Literature from Korea University, where they studied from 2004 to 2011. In 2007 and 2008, they participated in the Junior Year English Program for Exchange Students at Tohoku University. In 2014 to 2015, they attended Tampere University of Applied Sciences, focusing on International Business/Trade/Commerce.
