Tim Cabot has a long and varied work experience. Tim began their career in 1989 as an SBU Manager for Cabot Corporation, where they held various positions over their career, with their last position being business manager for $50MM Niches and Coatings subsidiaries. In 2004, they founded Alacrity Material Technology. In 2006, they became the CEO and President of Katahdin Inc. In 2008, they became the President of Precision Coating - Woonsocket, a company that improves health outcomes worldwide by enhancing the surfaces of medical devices and instruments. In 2009, they became a Treasurer and Board Member of Community Resources For Justice (CRJ), a 140 year old non-profit with +700 employees across three divisions. In 2012, they became the Chairman of Southworth International, the world's largest manufacturer of ergonomic material handling equipment for vertical lifting and work positioning.
Tim Cabot attended The Lawrenceville School from 1981 to 1985, and then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Columbia University from 1985 to 1989.
