Ilia Ivanov

Ilia Ivanov has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ilia started their career as a Junior Web Developer at Infradata in 2010. Ilia then worked as a GeoIS Web Developer at REGIO Ltd. from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they joined Surflink OÜ as a Software Developer from 2011 to 2015.

In 2014, Ilia joined Wunder.io as a Senior Web Developer, where they were involved in developing Drupal web applications for government and private sector clients. Ilia actively participated in internal seminars, supported co-workers, and was involved in improving internal processes.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Pipedrive as a Backend Developer, contributing to the development of the public web page and underlying infrastructure. Ilia gained experience in Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, CI/CD, and Vue.

In 2018, Ilia joined Bigbank as a Full-stack Developer, where their primary responsibility was to allow customers to seamlessly apply for loans. Ilia also took on the role of Product Engineering Manager, overseeing various aspects of team management, technical documentation, development processes, and planning technical solutions.

From 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Development Team Lead at Veriff, leading a team dedicated to creating and improving internal tools for business processes. Ilia'sresponsibilities included working with the product manager to create roadmaps, technical specifications, and leading the team through regular 1:1 meetings, motivational events, and other team routines.

Currently, Ilia works as a Product Engineering Lead at Katana Cloud Manufacturing, starting in 2023.

Ilia Ivanov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the University of Tartu in 2005. In addition, they obtained a certification in Estonian language C1 level from Innove in October 2013 and became a Zend PHP 5.3 Certified Engineer from Zend in October 2013.
