Daniel Phillips

Daniel Phillips has extensive meteorological experience, currently serving as the Morning Meteorologist at KATC TV since January 2017, where forecasts are provided for a 2.5-hour show on weekdays. Additionally, Daniel holds the position of lead Environmental Reporter at the same station. Prior to this, Daniel was the Weekend Meteorologist at KATC 3 from January 2013 to December 2016 and worked as the Morning/Noon Meteorologist at KREX-TV from May 2011 to January 2013, where responsibilities included forecasting and producing weather graphics, as well as co-anchoring shows. Daniel's career began as a Freelance Meteorologist at WTXL ABC27 from October 2010 to May 2011, covering for absent meteorologists. Daniel graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 2011.
