Amit Thapa

Amit Thapa is an experienced medical professional specializing in neurosciences, currently serving as the Chairman of Neurosciences at Frontline Hospital since April 2023. Thapa has held prominent positions at Kathmandu Medical College since May 2012, including Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery and previously as Assistant Professor and Unit Chief. In addition, Thapa has been the Chief of Neurosciences at Grande International Hospital since July 2013 and served as Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences from February 2010 to May 2012. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Resident at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences from January 2007 to January 2010. Thapa's educational background features a Master of Surgery in General Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
