Dr. Simon Fink

Dr. Simon Fink is an experienced analytics professional currently serving as the Director of Analytics International at Kaufland Deutschland since February 2023, following roles as Team Lead Analytics at Kaufland International. Prior experience includes positions at Lidl International from March 2020 to February 2023, where Dr. Fink was Team Lead Analytics and Senior Data Scientist. Earlier roles include Data Scientist in CRM at Porsche between January 2017 and March 2020, and Research Scientist at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from April 2008 to October 2016, which involved tutoring in physics and programming courses. Dr. Fink holds a Doctorate in Physics from KIT (2013-2016) and a Diplom in Physics from the same institution (2007-2013). Further research experience was gained at CERN during a research stay from April 2012 to October 2016.
