Adam J. Lang performs a variety of litigation support and consulting services for clients. He specializes in complex receivership engagements involving securities and bankruptcy fraud, economic damage and lost profit calculations, and shareholder disputes.
He has provided forensic accounting services to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Florida Department of Financial Services and other government agencies. Adam has also testified as an expert in court on a range of matters, including lost profits, piercing the corporate veil and usury.
In addition, Adam participates in litigation support engagements related to accountant liability and breach of contract, and he has extensive experience working with and reviewing tax returns and financial statements, forecasts and projections, and client accounting records.
Active in the community, Adam is a former member of the board of directors of Children’s Harbor and served on the non-profit’s finance committee. Formerly, Adam was a member of Leadership Broward. Adam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). Adam is a member of AICPA’s Litigation Process Task Force, and the AICPA recognized Adam as a top young CPA in forensics and valuation with a ‘Standing Ovation’ honor in 2015. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
