Tero Tikkanen

Tero Tikkanen is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and brand development. Currently serving as Co-founder and Head of Design at Kausal since May 2020, Tero leads product design and development initiatives. As a Visiting Lecturer at Aalto University since May 2022, Tero teaches user experience design. Previous roles include UX Designer at Dotdash, where Tero led design research for interactive calculators, and multiple positions at the City of Helsinki, where Tero developed design systems and user interfaces for various city services. Tero has also founded a visual design studio, Byfar, contributing significantly to both corporate and startup projects. Tero holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Aalto University, along with an exchange program at Hongik University.
