Alexandre Saverin

Alexandre (Alex) Saverin is the Co-Founder and Chief Risk Officer of Kawa Capital. Alex spends most of his time evaluating investment opportunities, as well as actively participating in quantitative analysis, risk management, hedging and downside analysis for the hedge fund. He has also overseen the implementation and build-out of Kawa’s proprietary trading and monitoring systems. Prior to Kawa, Alex was at Horn Eichenwald Investments, where he led the development of an asset management software platform and explored automated computer based trading models. Prior to Horn Eichenwald, Alex was a Senior Developer for Motorola's Multimedia Messaging team, where he helped to successfully launch Motorola's multimedia messaging platform to over 60 million Verizon and US Cellular subscribers. Alex has a B.A. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
