Jamila Maliha

Jamila Maliha is a seasoned education administrator with extensive experience in enhancing student achievement and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the K-12 education system. Currently serving as Superintendent of Student Achievement and Superintendent of Education at Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board since August 2020, Jamila Maliha has previously worked as Superintendent of Education for Innovation and Information Technology Services at Durham District School Board from 2017 to 2020. Jamila Maliha is actively pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Western University, having earned a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Toronto, an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology from the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology from Western University.
