Yesenia Calderon Leon

Yesenia Calderon Leon is a Family Medicine Resident at Kaweah Health since June 2022. Yesenia completed a Doctor of Medicine degree from both the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science as a member of the Class of 2022. Prior to medical residency, Yesenia served as a Health Educator at Clinica Sierra Vista from September 2016 to June 2018 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with The Community Knowledge Project from August 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Yesenia gained experience as a Clinical Care Extender Intern/Volunteer at COPE Health Solutions from January 2015 to April 2016. Yesenia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology with a Minor in Medical Anthropology from UC Irvine in 2016.
