Grace Gartel, MPH has more than 7 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare and research sectors.
Grace began their career as an Editorial Assistant at JoVE in 2012, where they gained experience in scientific publishing. Following this, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Northeastern University, contributing to laboratory research.
In 2013, Grace joined Massachusetts General Hospital as a Research Assistant for the NMASA study, focusing on biomedical imaging. Grace then transitioned to the New Orleans Health Department as an intern, where they worked on a pediatric lead exposure project, conducting research and presenting findings at a public meeting.
Grace continued to expand their research experience at Tulane University, where they served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Grace supported the Movin' for Life study, assisted with database development, and trained new research assistants.
During their time at Tulane, Grace also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Grace managed admissions activities, responded to inquiries from prospective students, and organized admissions events.
Grace's clinical research experience includes positions at Ochsner Health System, where they served as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator and later as a Clinical Research Coordinator. In these roles, they managed activities related to clinical trials, maintained all documentation, communicated with stakeholders, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.
Most recently, Grace has been involved with Kayentis, initially serving as a Clinical Operations Project Manager and currently holding the position of Senior Clinical Operations Project Manager.
Throughout their career, Grace has demonstrated strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to the advancement of healthcare research.
Grace Gartel, MPH began their education in 2006 at Marblehead High School, where they obtained their High School diploma in 2010. Following this, they attended Northeastern University from 2010 to 2014 and earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. In 2015, they enrolled in Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, specializing in Epidemiology, where they completed their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in 2017.
