Michael Grant

Michael Grant, CPA has a vast and extensive work experience in the accounting field. Michael has held various leadership roles in different companies. Most recently, they served as the Managing Director and Head of Accounting at Kayne Anderson Real Estate since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Accounting at WeWork from 2016 to 2018. Michael also held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Rouse Properties from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they served as the SVP and Chief Accounting Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality from 2008 to 2014. Michael'sprevious experience includes roles such as CFO/Controller at Eagle Hospitality, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Accounting Officer at UMT Holdings, SVP of Internal Audit and Senior Director of Central Accounting/SAP Services at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Regional Controller at ClubCorp. Michael started their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG.

Michael Grant, CPA holds an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a BBA degree in Accounting. In addition, Michael Grant has obtained the certification for Certified Public Accountant.
