Nataliya Shvartsman has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Nataliya began their career at Larisa's Design as a part-time Costume Designer from 2000 to 2004. Nataliya then worked as an Assistant Technical Designer Intern at Gap from June to September 2004. From September 2004 to February 2005, Nataliya took on a freelance role as an Assistant Designer at The Donna Karan Company, LLC. Nataliya continued their career at LIZ CLAIBORNE INC/ Ellen Tracy, where they served as an Assistant Designer from May to September 2005. Nataliya then joined Hampshire Group Limited as an Associate Knits Designer from September 2005 to December 2007. Currently, they are employed at Kayser-Roth Corporation, starting in December 2007, where they held the role of Senior Designer and is currently the Design Director since March 2023.
Nataliya Shvartsman's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Pace University and studied Art History. From 2002 to 2005, they enrolled at Parsons School of Design - The New School where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. During their time at Parsons School of Design, in 2004, Nataliya won the International Fashion Sketch Contest-Project in a competition that took place in the USA, Japan, and France. Additionally, in the same year, they were awarded the Best of School Award in Fashion/Apparel Design through the CFDA Project. Lastly, in 2005, Nataliya once again won the International Fashion Sketch Contest-Project. It is worth noting that while they were involved in a PETA Project in 2004, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
