Jonah Akorli

Jonah Akorli's work experience includes serving as the Head of Dams and Tailings Storage Facilities at KAZ Minerals starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a TSF Technical Manager at KAZ Minerals starting in June 2022. Before joining KAZ Minerals, they worked at Golder as a Senior Tailings Engineer - Mine Waste Lead Ghana from July 2020 to June 2022, and as a Geotechnical/Tailings Engineer from June 2019 to June 2022. Jonah also worked at Knight Piesold as a Senior Project Engineer from May 2015 to May 2019. Jonah started their career at Coffey Mining as a Geotechnical Engineer from April 2009 to May 2015. Before that, they worked at SAL Consult as a Hydrogeologist from April 2008 to May 2015. Jonah also worked at Coffey Mining Pty Ltd as a Project Geologist from April 2008 to April 2009, and at AY&A Consult Ltd. as a Hydrogeologist from September 2003 to April 2008.

Jonah Akorli obtained a BSc in Geological Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, completing their studies from 1998 to 2002.
